 he Theological Institute of Assisi, was founded in 1971, and is an institute of teaching academic character, dependent, through the tie of aggregation, upon the Faculty of Sacred Theology of the Lateran Pontifical University in Rome. In virtue of such a tie, the academic titles achieved in the institute are issued directly by the same Faculty and are recognized by the Italian State.
